Well, what I'm wondering is, will she grow out of it? lol Because if not, I probably should correct it now. She runs places, not walk! :lol-sign: Its my nephew in a puppy's body. Its cute now, but later it won't be.. Hershey ran around the house a lot too, when he was Whisper's age. I wouldn't mind if she was going to be a smaller dog.. But shes getting bulkier, and bigger everyday. (bulkier like a Lab is supposed to. broader chest) Well, any information would be great! Thank you for reading!!

Er.. yes it's normal. If she's running in the house, wait till she starts walking again and take her outside for a fun game of fetch/tag/wrestling/etc. Keep her nails trimmed and you won't have scratching issues, and as long as she's not exceptionally clumy I can't see you having any problems. She's about 4 1/2 months old now, right?

King and Molly still run through the house like maniacs once in a while, even though they are pushing 9 years old. King is the main offender, but Molly does it too. Every day when I let them out after coming home from work, King goes ballistic, makes several orbits of the back yard at about 40MPH, while Molly watches and pants. At most, she makes about one loop and that's it. When King is in a mood to cause trouble, the running around ends with an "attack" on poor Molly. He runs up, snarling and making all kinds of crazy noises, and Molly's usual reaction is panic. She just doesn't seem to get the fact he's playing, even after being together since birth.
Sometimes he gets too rough, and she gets angry. They snarl and start slapping each other in the face at machine gun speed, and then it's over, except for a few dirty looks.
If I interfere by trying to make him stop, or leave her alone, she gets all upset with me, and acts as if I'm yelling at her. King just looks at me like I'm totally nuts, like, "What's your problem?" Sometimes I think she's like an abused wife who doesn't know any better. Since King has been with her before I got them, I think it's a little late to try to affect their "system" at this point. That system being King is King and Molly is pawn. The way King controls her by just a look is amazing, kind of like the Baboons do in those documentaries.

I wouldn't have imagined a dog of such age to be running around that crazily. That's good that they're still very much puppies at heart =)
You got yourself a mini-cheetah, running at 40mph lol.

My Xena runs in the house as well. Laps around the coffee table in the living room for several minutes at a time. Never a loss for energy, this one. It's a little funny whenever she has a growth spurt. She gets really tall and then fills in, so she gets clumbsy until her legs are under her.
Every time I see her, she gets taller. I think this dog must be part deer with the size of her legs.
