Is it okay for my dog to growl and bark a little while she's playing with my other dog? If it isn't, what's the best way to stop it?

That's completely fine. If she steps out of line, the other dog will let her know.

How old are the dogs?
My 2 dogs used to play tug together & growl at each other.

I'm worried about that, too! The little one growls and barks at Blondie, and he runs off most of the times. But other times his tail is pointing up (he wasn't docked as a pup so he has a BEAUTIFUL tail even though he's a Cocker Spaniel) and when he growls back and shows teeth, I run and take Christie with me.... I know that's wrong but I don't want Blondie to hurt the baby. She's only 2 months old today :(

^You need to let Blondie correct the puppy. She will grow up to be a little brat if she never gets told whats appropriate and unappropriate.
If he goes overboard, then you can split them up.

I know that, Tucker! But I'm afraid Blondie gets too agressive and hurts her. I'm waiting for her to have 3 sets of shots to take them for a walk to the park and let them play there, or home when they're excited but tired. (crossing fingers)
