I am getting Erika her puppy

Found a breeder through a friend of mine who has champion Great Pyrennees puppies. She doesn't sell them and usu ally give them to family, but since she knows my friend so well, she is going to give us a pup, based on her recommendation. Yay. I know Erika will be thrilled. She was the one who really trained Squirt and worked with her. Anyway, she has 5 females for us to pick from. What do you l ook for in a puppy?

What I look for, besides soundness, is the pup who comes and checks me out and is more interested in me than in its littermates.

Buffy made a beeline for me and sat down on my feet, looked up at me and claimed me. :) Judy picked Kharma out for me, but she picked Kharma from the other female pups because Kharma acted more like Buffy did as a pup than any of the others.

Just go in wide open and listen with your heart and your pup will let you know who she is :)

A good choice ( if not a Golden !!! ) Again , get " THE " book Linda ...it will tell you what to ask and look for with the puppy testing . Bless your heart !! It's been a long rough year for you and yours . How's Erika doing at camp ?? I think a larger dog will be good for Lola too .
