We have been trying to housebreak our yorkie for the last 3 months.(she is 6 months old) We have had some success, but she just isn't getting the point 100%. We crate her at night but can not crate during the day due to being gone to long, she is place in her room with a puppy pad(and does do a good job). Just looking for some suggestions. Also we always had her pooping down to a science she would eat; and 10-15 minutes later she would poop, (we feed her am and pm) know she poops at noon and about 3 am, is there any way to get her back to the other routine? she is a very smart dog!(probably part of the problem) any suggestions would be appreciated..
