Prayers for Bella...

It may be nothing and we certainly hope it's nothing, but her eye is pretty bad today. We're going to wait a day or so and see how she does with it (she could have bumped her head, they wrestle a lot).

But it is obvious she is in some amount of discomfort and she's never shown this before. :( Prayers for her please... she doesn't need a major surgery right now.

ETA: For those that do not know- she is blind in her right eye and we were initially told that it needed to be removed. At the second opinion and after a third check up it was concluded that that did not need to happen. So let's hope that is still the case...

I do hope she'll be OK. Sending positive vibes that she gets better and that it was just a little bump. Maybe a little ice wrapped in a dishtowel for a minute here and there might take down any swelling. Sorry she's having a hard time.

Awe Nicole and Mit I am truly sorry to hear this. I of course hope all goes well for the poor baby. I had to put both hot packs and cold packs on Sally and Betty's eyes after they were removed and I can 0only imagine having to get a Fila to hold still. I don't think I am big enough to make her do it. But it does help with pain and swelling. I really hope she does not need the surgery it is complicated care afterwards but I know you two would stick to the treatment plan, I just want to send good vibes your way and hope she does not need it. Hugs to you both as well.

She goes to the specialist tomorrow morning. I'll post with an update and what happened to her eye tomorrow evening.. I'm too exhausted to go into it right now.

Her pressure was extremely high. She is on meds and we hope that they work, if not, she will need to have the eye removed. I'll do a full thread about it soon... some were asking about what happened, etc..
