I have learnt that soft or liquid stool is bad and unhealthy. What about smelly stool?? What does it imply? too much protein?? Do I need to worry? Am I feeding more than food he can tolerate?

Very smelly stool can be a negative sign regarding the dog's diet. I feed homecooked, and I'm happy to report that my dog's poop isn't too smelly at all.

Poop stinks, period.
