View Full Version : Ear advice needed.

Noah has been (about 1 week now) shaking his head then tilting it to one side occassionally as if he has something in his ears. He does not scratch them just the shaking. I have not bathed him in over 2 weeks and was careful not to get water in his ears. He has also not been out in the rain. I have inspected them and can not see anything foreign. Should I irrigate with a water/white vinegar solution? Thanks once again for you feedback!

Sounds like it's not his ears. Maybe something eslse.
I'd say a vet visit! :)

It could more then likely be an inner ear problem. Does he hold his head to the side at all?
It could also be an infection starting, it could be mites, could have allergies.. it could be a few things. I wouldn't try home remedies just yet until you can get a diagnosis on yoru pups problem.
Get them to a vet so the vet can take a look.

Sounds like the beginning of an ear infection. I would have it checked out by a vet.
