Thanks guys...but I can't take the credit...it's not what I've done for him, but what he has done for me...he puts a smile on my face every time that I look at him. It is so gratifying to see him progress. My whole crew gives me a reason to wake up every day. No matter what the rest of my day is like, they are always so glad to see me and they love me no matter what. It's given me a purpose in life and I count my blessings everyday...I have to make sure I haven't lost somebody!

He's very cute. You say "former blind and deaf." Did he have some kind of operation? I think I missed a thread from before. It's wonderful what you do for each other.

When he was at the shelter in OH he was pretty unresponsive and seemed unable to hear or to see. When I got him he would just walk in circles and seemed oblivious to everyone and everything around him. He was in his own little world. Gradually, he has become much more responsive. He rarely circles now and he will look at you when you talk to him. He follows me around begging for me to drop a bite of whatever I'm eating. His faculties may be a little impaired, but they seem to be improving. The vet is astonished at his improvement. He will come to me to be picked up and sleeps curled up between my husband and I every night. He gets along well with his siblings and he has a sweet tooth, and I do mean tooth because we had to have the rest of them removed...do a search for blind/deaf chi needs a home in this forum. There are "before" pictures there. He has came along way in a short time.

I just went back and read the previous threads. You guys are AWESOME! I can't believe what you all did to help this little guy. Had to fight back the tears. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

This all still makes me so happy. :)

He looks great! :D Definitely an improvement from the shelter. How lucky he is to have you, and you him. He is most definitely a great, fun loving guy. He just kissed and kissed me on the ride to be picked up and transported. What a guy. :)
