Hi, I'm new (obviously).
My husband and I decided to adopt a puppy from one of our local shelters as a Christmas present for our 2 daughters (ages 4 and 6). My husband really wanted a Boxer but I talked him into adopting a Boxer mix instead, her name is Sadie and she's pictured in my avatar.
A girl at another board I belong to recommended this site (her name is joce over there not sure if it's the same here). She said this was the best doggy forum ever so here I am. I really want to be a responsible pet owner and I want Sadie to grow into a well behaved member of our family. I hope to learn a lot from this site.
