Well here it is 2 more weeks till the puppies are 8 weeks. I have homes for all but two of the puppies. The adopter of the male ahd family issues so she backed out last minute and the last lil female has had no offers....

Well I am not sure the mother was dumped ..the neighbors had takin her in...then she went in heat and a couple weeks b4 i figured she was due I went next door to see if they wanted help... and they said she wasnt their problem they were moving so I took her in and she had seven pups...

Thanks all! I would Love to give her to you! YEs she is sooo cute.. she has shorter legs then all the rest :( but she makes up for it in sweetness and snuggling! she was the runt!

Thank you so much for your offer. If I have an emergency Ie More pups get dumped (which is a very popular thing) then I may contact you. But I think she will be welcome here for as long as it takes to find her a proper home. Which so far not a one. Its been very silent out there in adopter land.. lol.
I actually touched base with two adoption agencies in my area one I was totally disgusted by the other gave me a few pointers and what to watch for and so on. She also adviced me to call the Police and report all the dogs that dumped so they will have a patrol come through and prevent it but I decided against that b/c I feel it is better they are dumped her then somewhere where ppl will not care and leave them to die. TOO mandy puppy mills around me. :mad:

What a great thing you did, canadianmandy!!!!!! I just loves me some puppies!!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Our rescue had 7 puppies until this past Saturday, now we have six. About 2 months ago, one of our volunteers picked up a female and a male Jack Russel/Rat terrier mix, and the female was hugely pregnant.

I have the dad in foster here, and the volunteer that found them has the mom and pups.

And you are right, much better for a mama dog to end up there with you!!!!!
