HELP!- I think my puppy ate rock salt

Hi,
We have a 10 week old lab mix puppy who just went out for a walk. We think she might have eaten some rock salt while playing in the snow. She began coughing outside and now is much more subdued than she usually is.

Is rock salt dangerous to dogs? I can't imagine that she ate a huge amount, just on the surface of the snow.

PS- she is already on Flagyl for some diarheaa that she had yesterday.

Any advice is welcome, as we are first time dog-parents.

IF you are concerned, I would suggest calling your vet, an emergency clinic, or animal poison control to determine what should be done, if anything.
