Itching Of Stitches

Hello,
I was wondering of anyone could tell me what I could put on my neutered
puppies stitches that are 4 days old and he wants to lick,lick,lick and he
is wearing the collar and hates it. May reach his forbidden area when I am
not around and lick away. Maybe it itches???? Would Neosporin be ok?

I broke vitamin E capsules on Mikey and I know that's safe cuz we eat them. :D I think Renee recommended something to me but I can't remember what now!

Keep the e-collar on and neosporin would be ok in small amounts, but won't help with itching...just infection. Make sure your pup's incision is not red, hot, or swollen. That can be a sign that it is infected and should go back to the vet for a re-check. :)

i didnt know pups could get neutered at four days?

The stitches are four days old not the pup!
