for the past couple days, Addie seems to have this 'whistling' when she breathes. she seems a little more tired than usual...so could this be a cold?? she has great appetite, normal stools, no vomiting...so I'm not panicking about taking her to the vet as yet. since it's quiet here during the day, it seems a bit loud to me. is there anything I could do if it is a cold, or should I just let nature take it course (like people) unless she gets really ill? thanks!

Lie her down and put your head to her chest to see what her lungs sound like . Hopefully it's coming from her nose .

her lungs seem clear, the congestion seems to be in her nose. I spoke too soon........my little girl didn't eat one bite of food today. soooo not like her when it is top dressed with chicken, and even pork gravy. not ONE bite. she seemed to want to go outside, so I put them both out in their yard. no play....she went straight into her house. *sigh* it is warm outside, so I'm giving her an hour for alone time. then it's back in...for me to watch her. now, I still don't panic if a dog doesn't eat one meal...heck, both mine do that periodically. but I do know my little girl isn't feeling well. poor little Ad.
