Hey.. well as you know I'm new here! :p Well I bought a 5 week old puppy (Mikey) and kept him inside the house for nearly 3 weeks then I moved him to a the fenced yard and he keeps barking, biting and tugging the fence, I thought he wanted some company so I got another puppy (Voodoo) and Voodoo keeps howling when I leave and at night.
Help!!!

Dogs, and especially puppies are very social creatures. They are naturally pack animals and feel that they belong in a pack with us. Do your puppies ever come inside with you? And if they don't are they getting enough socializtion with their people? This could be the reason that they are barking, they may feel that they are not getting enough attention. Remember that a puppy has just spent the first bit of its life with its mother and the rest of the litter. It is a big adjustment to having to live without all of the social stimulation that they had become accustomed to. Other people here could be of more help who primarily keep their dogs outdoors. Maybe you crate train them to sleep indoors at night and you may find that the barking and howling will end. Good luck.

Mikey may be bored or feel limited, how often do u walk them?
Voodoo sounds like he is missing, you, best to deal with that before it becomes extremem seperation anxiety

Yeah poor baby. Your dog is just barking because it wants attention. It's only 8 weeks old.It just wants alot of love.

Well, I think an 8 week old puppy is too little to be left alone in a fenced yard. And I also think by getting another puppy to try to fix the problem is even a bigger problem.

I think a 5 week old puppy is too young to be away from its mother in the first place.

Sorry, this kind of upsets me and I won't comment anymore. The advice given above is really all you need.

Good Luck
