View Full Version : Carpal Pad infection?

Of course I discovered this tonight, Friday! So, we can't see the vet for a couple of days. Anyway, one of Summer's carpal pads is greenish and it hurts her, she has been chewing it and licking it. She does not want me touching it. :confused: What could me wrong with it, has anyone heard of this before? I did a web search and found nothing!

Yikes !!!! Have you soaked it ??? Any pictures ???
Can you get her soak it in bowl of Epsom salts?? That doesn't sound good at all...

I cleaned it with peroxide. Got most of the green off. But it came back. It isn't oozing or anything, just green.
She is very puppy still so I cannot see having her soak (tried it for something else, and she would not hold still).. so I guess I am off to the vet.
