Eek! Help!

Hi everyone,

Cheza managed to slip the baby gate and get into the bathroom. I was making dinner and didn't notice for a second or two, then I went to get her. She'd knocked my antiperspirant onto the floor (it's the gel stuff so it spilled out when it hit the floor) and I think she ate some :(

Anyone know if this is really bad for her? I'm keeping an eye on her right now but I wasn't sure if it was bad enough to be a vet thing.

I did a quick search on google, and it said to call a the pet poisen control center. I think that sounds like a good idea . . .

I've don't have personal experiance with this, though. I hope everything turns out well ;)

I ate deodorant when I was a baby and they just said to make sure I drank a LOT of water. I would read the back of the antiperspirant and/or call poison control/pet poison control/vets office and see what they say. i don't know how you would force a dog to drink a lot of water. i hope everything goes alright, keep us updated.

My dog got a fairly empty stick of deodorant out of the garbage and pretty much cleaned it up one night. I was worried too, but he ended up being fine. I did call the vet, and they said to watch him, but it probably wasn't enough to hurt him. As long as it wasn't a whole lot, he'll probably be ok, but you could call your vet and see what he/she says.
