Paw - What is this, is it okay? - pics.

A small outer layer of his paw is just hanging by a tiny bit. You can see under it, it looks like a little lump in there. I don't know if he just cut it and it is healing or if I should be worried about whats under.
Gosh I can't explain it, have a look at the pics and see if you can help me.

Doesn't seem to bother him, he is still running around on it as normal.

This is the bit that is coming off, and hanging on by a tiny bit. I can't pull it off, it is pretty tight where it is still attached.

Could just be a growth. I've seen things like it before but never on the paw. Basically if it doesn't come off (and especially if it gets bigger) we just deaden the area and then more or less snip it off. It's usually fine after that.

Or like you said, that area could be healing from something (it doesn't look like anything is exposed) and it's just flaking off. Give it a day or two and see if it's progressed into falling off any.
