I met Gemini today! Rottweiler, at the shelter, he has been darted, and other things.

Well, we went to only go look at the Humane Society, I got to meet Gemini! A Rottweiler! Oh man was he gorgeous! I hope he finds a home!!! He was scared though. :( I think I am in love with him, he is just so pretty, but, I don't think he would be a good canidate for our household anyways, he is on petfinder.com. He got out on the streets again, when we just got there! :yikes: He was gorgeous. But, I only went to go look, and get out of the house, I want to help the shelter dogs. But, was this guy pretty! Look at him! And if you want to read his story, it is there. I just don't want to type it.

I hope he gets adopted! But, I hope its not weird to go to a shelter and look at the dogs and cats. Cause I know I can't have another dog/cat anyways.

I hope it's not weird, since I sometimes give in and do it. I had myself halfway to a cat last time. Thank God I got out of there. It took me half the 15 minute drive home to remember I'm allergic.

Houdini there has a really engaging face, but wooo, what a handful he'd be! If he's not aggressive, though, he might be fine once he settle into a home. I had dogs who were excellent escape artists but once they figured out they were home for keeps, they never went anywhere.

i got in the habit of searching petfinder regularly when we were looking for a dog. after i got sylvie, i'm finding it a difficult habit to break!

Well, he looks sweet, and only trusts few people. I wanted to pet him, but, I didn't ask, so I didn't bother. I wanted to see if he would come to me, but.. of course shy old me. But, hmm, I know RedRottweilers would have great advice! :D (not sure of the full name)

No, I don't think it's weird. I know I can't have another dog for a while but I check Petfinder and my local shelters' sites frequently anyway.
