I want to thank Emma for giving instructions on how to "down". Kona knows how to sit. My hubby was trying to teach down by pulling are legs forward. I said "no, that's not what Emma said to do". I took some treats and did the step by step process. Well, Kona picked it up quickly. My hubby was amazed, and he tried it. Kona did it for him. Carl wanted me to personally thank Emma for the great instructions. I wish we lived near you for training.

I think too that it's a real asset having Creature Teacher here. She really knows her stuff. Thank you too CT for all your help! I am pretty good with animals, have done a lot with them, but I'm not a real dog trainer like you so I know there are times when I get totally beside myself and stumped... and it's nice to know there's someone so willing and ready to help out. And she's also right about your doggie being such an apt pupil and you and Carl working together like a team. There are some people, unfortunately, who have partners or parents who fight them when they learn something new and think they should do it their way. So, that's nice that you have such a willing dog and husband. LOL. Way to go you guys!

Thanks. I have to say that Carl & I might not agree on everything, but if we can do something in a positive way for our pets, Carl is all for it. He is definitely an animal person.
