Hi,

I wanted to ask if anyone can help with saving a Male pit in northern WA?
He is house trained, indoor dog, good with kids, cats and dogs...
Has some obedience training, will sit, down, go to his bed , 2 yrs old, and loves to give hugs, very gentle.
I met him yesterday, and he passed his temperment test...A really nice boy!!!
He is utd on all vetting except is still intact...
Is there anyone who knows of a rescue group who can help him?
His family that he has loved and cherished is moving, and he is not going..
He is socialized, and a calm mellow loving pit, who deserves a better lot in life than he is going to get. This is his thankyou for loving his family and being a good representative of the breed.
Booked for euthanasia on Feb 15th...

Picks can be viewed here...

Here's a list of groups, I'm not knowledgable on which are good or not, but it's a start.

He's gorgeous! Sounds like a catch too. :)

I suggest contacting Diane Jessup. She's a pit bull expert and is located in Olympia, WA. Her website is http://www.workingpitbull.com/Contactme.html. I suggest you send her an email and a snail mail (no phone # I could find). You could also try the Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue http://www.spdrdogs.org/.
