There have been a few threads lately about danes, so it made me want to share pictures of my dane that we lost a couple of years ago. He only lived to be 4 years old, but given his health problems that was a miracle in itself.:(
The other dog is our Rottie/Aussie mix that we lost to gastric torsion (bloat) just shy of her second birthday. I loved both these dogs very much and miss them dearly.

The dane is beautiful but your AussieRott is adorable! Just what I pictured when you said those two breeds...she's a Sawbrey. :D

That "AussieRotte" is really cool. Do people breed those or did the dogs have their way in making that one? Really cool.

wow that aussie rottie is amazing. thats a cool looking dog. i would wonder what that cross would look like

My Aussie/Rottie mix cam from an "accidental" litter. You know the kind where neither party were responsible enough to spay or neuter?:rolleyes: Her mother was a Rottweiler and father was an Aussie. She was a very beautiful dog to say the least. You could take one look at her and tell exactly what she was a mix of. I have never met a more talented, athletic dog in all of my life. She could fetch and retrieve like no other and was my hubby's best friend. :(

Both are gorgeous! But the rottie/aussie is so neat! Very unique.
