Doggy Dandruff

well, Samm has had some bad dandruff lately, I'm guessing it's because of the cold weather.. Anyway, I went out and bought a medicated shampoo, and I'm suposse to wash her twice a week for like a month, and then it's like twice a month after that..is this right? I gave her a bath last night and it didn't really do anything, but then again I didn't expect a great change after just the first bath.. also is there anything else I can do to reduce her dandruff?

What food are you feeding? That could be adding to the problem.

Where did you buy this shampoo? I would always get a med. shampoo from a vet, not like Walmart or Petsmart :)

well I got it at the petstore I go to, and I wasn't sure about the quality, but I figured it's better then nothing...I doesn't say it's medicated (sorry), it just says it's good for dandruff, dry skin, etc...

I'm feeding her EVO, so I don't think thats the problem..also it's freezing here and her skin is probably drying out right?

Okay ;) Oh yeah I really don't think it could be the food then!

Maybe try some Fish Oil, it is good for the coat and skin :)
