Am I the only one that very strongly dislikes having to scroll *Over* to read what people say?
I've seen some rather laarrge signatures lately, and though I do NOT want any kind of limit that leaves you without hardly any room at all, but I do think maybe a limit should be put in place so that you know.. we can read without being forced to scroll OVER. And perhaps a length limit might be appropriate. When I have to scroll like 5 inches +.. I think that is getting a bit long.
So anyone else with me? Or do I stand alone. :p

Personally, I like seeing all the signatures, I do think everyone should limit themselves to one though....
I don't think there should be a size limit though....that is one reason I like it here, you can really let your personality and talent (not to mention your dogs) show through without firm *rules*......
I do have dialup, and the signatures really don't cause a problem for me.
You know you can choose not to view signatures if they bother you. ;)

Ooops! Sorry.. :S :p Should pay more attention.
I'll look for it, but do you think you could link me to it, or at least tell me where I can find it(section?).

But I absolutely love seeing all the different signatures. Just not when they become obnoxiously large. ;)

The biggest problem, I think, is with sizing of images. Some images are very big and if there was a limit on their size it would allow people to keep the same content without sacrificing data.
I had that problem and it bugged the crap out of me until I changed my screen settings from 800x400 to 1600x800. Right click on a blank area on your desktop and go to properties, then settings and go to "screen resolution" and move the slider over to the biggest setting.

i agree, though ive made myself vocal about that in the past - when peoples signatures are four times the size of their actual posts, it becomes a little obnoxious. i have a pretty big laptop, but there are still multiple people that have signatures that are larger than my entire screen!
I have a very small laptop but never have problems with siggies stretching out and making me scroll left to right. I think it depends on what browser you are using.

I think a reasonable limit would be nice. That's just me.
