So since I moved about a month ago now I have been having some problems with Duke is his house training, The problem being he forgot he was housetrained while Im at work. I made the decision to keep him on the main floor that is hard wood and so he didnt have any carpet to go on. This has been working for the last week or so now but he's the werid thing. I have a gate set up at the bottom of the stiars to go upstiars. And everyday he gets past the gate and goes into my sisters room cause her door doesnt shut properly. The funny thing to me is he wont go on the carpet when he has to sneak upstairs. If I dont put the gate up he will go do his business on the carpet but if he has to get past the gate he wont go on the carpet. This is just really werid to me. Not that Im really complaining, I enjoy coming home and not having to clean up but Im just confused to the fact that no gate, he poops on the carpet, gate and he sneaks up stairs, no poop on the carpet. Duke just ends up with the weirdest issues.
