I have a 1 year old shih-tzu that I have had for about 3 months. He has bonded to me but is very jealous of my wife. He growls and snaps at her. Yesterday we hugged and he had a fit. Any suggestions? We are running out of options.

Maybe she should feed and take care of him for 2 weeks with you only petting ocasionally so he sees she is as important to his being as you are. Then when you do start back being a good master she has to continue to be a loving caregiver. Some animals feel like us and just can't stand certain people, hopefully she will let her guard down and love the dog as much as you. Good luck,
