Introduction

Hi everybody! I've been lurking for a bit so I thought it was time to introduce myself. I'm Rebecca, and I have one dog, Chief (he came with the name, I don't like it). He was my stepfather's dog until he married my mom (she has major allergies), and now he's mine. We've always had family dogs (poodles, because of Mom's allergies), but this is the first time I've been sole owner so I'm in the same position new owners are in as far as researching great foods and healthcare information etc. On top of that, Chief was severly abused (before my stepdad found him) and he has some socialization issues to deal with too. I've only had him since February, but he's doing great. So without further ado...

He's a mix, not sure of what. He does have some spots on his tongue, so maybe chow. He's only 35 pounds though. He looks a lot like a schipperke or Australian kelpie. I'll try to get a good full body shot, but he usually runs when I try for pictures.
