View Full Version : Can I give Holly another bath?

Well I gave Holly 3 baths on monday, due to her peeing in her crate. Well she has had no accidents, knock on wood, since Monday. Today she rolled in something when she was outside so she's stinky. I was wondering if I could give her another bath or if she should just be stinky for awhile? I do have very good shampoo for them so it shouldn't be too bad for her.

If you are using a mild/gentle shampoo it doesn't matter how often you bathe your dog. It wont harm her at all. :)

well we picked up some earthbath shampoo from a speciality dog store and then I got The STUFF (it's a leave in conditioner) as well. I used it all on Hannah has night and she's still soft and smells pretty with no itching. I'll probably have mark give Holly a bath after he comes home from work tonight.

Just as long as the shampoo has NATURAL ingredients or has a LOW Ph solution - you should be fine :)
Riot gets bathed weekly during the summer time and currently every two weeks until his last show in Novemeber.. THen he'll be left for a bath maybe every three weeks.

well you should not bath a dog as often as that even if you use a mild shampoo as it does take away the condition of the coat just wash away the area that is bad or use baby wipes you can also buy dry shampoo which is a rub in brush out shampoo
