I am SO excited! I think I am going to have so much fun there. I think it will benefit her a lot too because she'll get socializing and also help her to become less independant. We are paying $50 for a 4 week class. It's once a week for 1 hour. Is this too much to be paying? It's either this place that we signed her up at, or Petsmart, and this place seemed better. I'll provide the link to the website for her training facility. I am so excited to go though.

Here is the link to the facility, let me know if this is a good place or not:

I'm doing Petsmart only because I had limited choices and couldn't find someone that could work with my hectic schedule.

That is about the same price I am paying at Petsmart - $109.00 + tax for an 8 week course. 8 1 hour classes. I have gone to one class so far and the trainer is using positive training and seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Good Luck and have fun......

Congratulations on signing up. I don't think that is too expensive. It looks from what I can tell by the website to be a good place. Maybe you can observe a class before you go. (?) I think you'll have loads of fun. Good luck! Let us know how things go.

No he works afternoons and the class is in the evenings so he won't be home. He works with her on stuff at home, like come and sit, but couldn't take her to the class. I volunteered because it gets me out of the house by myself for 2 hours away from the kids (I know I'm selfish:o ). He will work with her on whatever we do in the class that day.

Julie look like a great place!!! I think $50 is a very good price!!

Plus is that MOST all the dogs I saw in the pics are wearing regular collars!!! NOT a prong or harness!!! That is a BIG PLUS!!! :D

Now you know that you have to post LOTS LOTS of pics from her training class/classes!!!! :D

He helps out a lot with her actually and I'm quite surprised. I thought he'd lose in her by now. I offered to take her though just to get away from the kids:D . This way it benefits us both! Mark does help, or tries to, but he has no idea what he's doing most the time so I have to do it.
