Is there such thing as a Chinese Crested Poodle, or is it a Crested/Poodle cross? I was looking in my classifieds, and someone's selling one for $150. They said it was an adoption fee though, maybe it's just to cover vaxx? I emailed the lady, wondering what it was, and she said he is 12lbs, and she didn't have pictures on her at that time, so...I asked if she had the time if she could please take some pictures. I'll post them here when she sends them (if she does).

That honestly must be one gross looking dog.. lol
The Crested dogs loose their puppy fur as they age on certain spots..
I really want to know what it looks like now lol

Correct... no such dog as a Chinese Crested Poodle. At least not here in the states. Lol. Actually, to one post, Poodles came in 4 sizes in Europe. (a Dwarf... the size between a miniature and a standard.) We changed that when Poodles were shown here in the U.S and Canada. I look foward to seeing pictures of this dog too!!

they are actually gorgeous dogs!!!!
but i love chinese cresteds anyway
i would imagine they would have crossed a powder puff with a poodle to get more of a longer coat, but crossing the hairless wouldnt look that bad either :D

Aww! They are adorable! I'd rather adopt one though, than buy one from a BYB.

Wow, the "Chinese Crestepoo." The stupidest poo name yet.
The actual dog looks pretty cute. But don't Chinese crested come in a powder puff variety anyway?

At a local pet shop I pass everyday they had two Crested's in the window for ages. They'd disappear for a week and be back the next obviously being cycled round different shops. It was so sad. The pet shop finally put a sign on the window which said something in Spanish along the lines of - 'No, I am not ugly, I am supposed to look like this!' As the two grew they'd just huddle together looking more and more miserable.
Happy ending though. They disappeared from the pet shop and I saw them a day or two later - still together. Their new owner owns an estate agency in the neighbourhood and bought them both. Yes, I know. Pet shops = puppy mills but I was very happy to see those two in a happy home.

yes crested comes in powder puffs...the point of this breed is like 99% of other poos...

next we'll be seeing mexian hairless poo...or inca orchid poo...now they would look weird...imagine a completly hairless dog like the inca but it has sparce curly hair on its head instead of the sparce regular hair....its an inca with a fro!
