Try adding a little cottage cheese to your moist kibble .

Do you have access to Innova EVO? If so, I have never seen a dog refuse it and it's great for toy breeds. It has a lot of fat and protein and that is what dogs crave. I bet your pup would love it.
Here is a link to the store locater and you can try to find it:http://www.naturapet.com/display.php?d=stores-tab

My little baby is picky...I admit it.... big dog is never picky, just littleone... I feed high quality all stages canidae, but she's spoiled, so I either mix in a smidge of dinner,or cottage cheese,or even just a bit of warm water, and she thinks she's all special..... this way she's got the solid good stuff, but a treat mixed in.... I'm such a loser to have a spoiled rotten chihuahua:lol-sign:

My Chihuahua girl was picky like that when she was younger. Unfortunately with these dogs, you can't mess around and hold out on them like you can with a bigger dog since they're so prone to hypoglycemia. A tiny bit of cottage cheese may be OK. But it can get the calcium thing out of balance...not sure of the details there. I use to sprinkle a tiny bit of fresh parmessan cheese on top. It's stinky and she loves it. Or a tiny bit of chicken broth. It's Ok to "spoil" her. She really has to eat a few times a day. My girl got over being picky all by herself.

When Riot went through his anorexic stage as a puppy - I put plain yogurt onto his food..
this is VERY tastey to some dogs and he always gobbled his dinner right up, also yogurt is FABULOUS to add into your dogs diet as well!

my guys are UBER picky, they LOVE royal canin chi and mini dog mixed together (its not bad quality food either)
ive also had good luck with the chicken soup brand puppy food!
a little chicken broth to moisten the food should work wonders if not try adding some cheese as stated above. but my uber picky chis love the RC. they are also free fed and prefer to graze through the day than have set meals.

My Yorkies also are free fed, as they are picky, and only eat when they want to. Becasue of their tendancy to get hypoglycemic (SP?) we leave food out all the time. Unfortunately, my dad has no clue what food to buy them, so even though we were on Nutro Natural Choice, when I was gone to Florida, he bought them Eukenuba. So we're getting them back to Nutro by feeding 1/4 cup of Eukenuba to 1/2 cup of Nutro. Often, if they won't eat it, we'll add some shredded cheese, or an egg. We cook them, but I've heard of people giving them raw also. ;) Good luck with your new baby!!! :)

I just was thinking about this,as I wrote before that Tink was such a picky thing when she was a puppy, but I've just noticed this week, she's 8 months now, when I put her food down, she sort of gives me a "is this it?" look, then proceeds to eat the whole bowl! Whoopee! I'd thought I had to mix stuff in her whole life! So maybe some dogs grow out of the picky phase.....of course she still waits under the dinner table for dropped treats....:lol-sign:

I have to agree with the Innova Evo, my picky chi LOVES this food! It's pricey, but little chi's don't eat that much
