yesterday, milo dug a hole under my back fence and got into the neighbor's yard to play with her german shepard mix, leila. i had to put bricks down along the entire back fence in order to prevent him from doing that again. i was using a pool noodle as a bar for a low hurdle to get milo used to the jumps, and this morning when i went to let him in from his morning bathroom trip outside, the noodle was in a few hundred pieces on my back deck. Then the cat threw up and he saw my mom get the paper towels out of the bathroom cabinet, so he opened that and took the roll of paper towels and shredded it. i'm just thankful he didn't get any cleaning solutions or anything.
i'm going to suggest that leila comes over for play dates once in a while since Milo loves her so much, and just try and keep an eye on him 24/7. he's usually so good, i don't know why he's acting up so much lately.
oh yeah, and he kept running and jumping on my pool cover, so i thought maybe he'd like to run around my trampoline. so i put him on it and threw a ball in there (it's netted) and he bounced around for a good half hour chasing the ball. he just loves to bounce, i guess it's a JRT trait.
