When I went to PetSmart with Tia today, one girl that works there asked me where I had gotten her from she asked if I had adopted her I said well originaly she came from the spca which I know they have cages at Petsmart. Anyhow she told me that she was sure Tia came from a litter of 9 boxer/lab pups that were there about the same time as Tia would have been at the spca. So could she infact be Lab x boxer what's your views??
I don't care one way or another she's well she was supposed to be my sons but I spend more time with her than he does Of course :)

Looking at her ears and face, not to mention her white markings, I'd say it's highly possible that Tia is a boxer/lab mix.

My cousin's dad has a farm where they raise cattle. They do blood tests on cattle and hogs to see whats in them or to see if they are purebreds. For example, A brangus is a brahman/ angus cross. If you want pure angus for your herd, then you blood test the bull before you buy. Vets also do the same thing with dogs. They give you a percentage or fraction( same thing) of what they have in them, if you wanted exact numbers.
IT IS VERY $$$$$$$$$$$$EXPESIVE$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ though. Like $100-$200 a piece depending on the size.

She seems to have a very loose skin, a bit of a droop to the eye (haw) and a pronounced dewlap. This is not standard in either the boxer or the labrador. It seems there may be some Neopolitan in there somewhere???

Good Job on adopting and the petsmart may have records and or microchips? to find out . By the looks of her she could be of that mix but if I was to laberl her it would be lab x and I had a mix like that but shep x lab x Pit he was the greatest
I see Boxer and Lab, but also a little bit of hound in there. What an adorable face!
