Need computer Help, trying to put up avatar but it keeps saying too big, I checked size and it is in limit? :confused:

Yeah, I went back to try and make it lil' bigger but now says the bigger one is not jpg :confused:

What size is the pic? It has to be 100 X 100 Pixels or less or it won't work

I've checked the settings: Width is 210, Height is 158. Size is 10016 bytes. It says on the website that 100 x 100 pixels or 39.00 pixels or less. Surely 10KB is less that 39KB. Or have I gone totally confused??!! I have attached the picture so that you can also have a look. I hope I have attached correctly!! Thanks

How do i insert a picture into my signature?? Also, my smilies do not show - they show in the format you type it in - :-)
If anyone can please give advice, I'll appreciate it!

This picture will work now, It was way to big. It was 207X236 Pixels. The signatures pics you have to upload from an Image hosting site such as www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and then you just copy and paste the picture not the link from photobucket. The avatar picture that is attached needs to be saved on your computer, and then up loaded from your computer.

grrrr I don't like the Image Pending Aproval thing anymore so I will post it directly. It still needs to be saved on to your computer first and then uploaded from your computer. Here is the pic and the link to it.

Your welcome. Just make sure that you uploaded the pic from your computer otherwise the pic will dissapper when I take it out of my photobucket.

It worked because I just got done deleteing it from my photobucket gallary. and now the pic that I posted directly is gone.

Do you have it uploaded to a website?

Then you go to User CP (control panel) and on the left will be an option that says edit signature. You post the code into the box and save.

Little trick. If you post the code with in these code the picture will be center instead of to the left (like mine). Let me know if you need more help

Saje... I'm so clueless... when you say got to User CP (control panel) -- where is THAT? Control panel to me is on my hard drive. How do I get to User CP?
