Howdy!!! At times my dogs need a "touch-up" between baths, especially after working cattle all day. We generally use just water and a washcloth to freshen them up a bit but I'm entertaining the thought of using baby wipes instead---far more pleasant scent as well. Do any you use the wipes and if so what brand? Thanks for any information!!!
I don't, I use a deoderizing spray instead, but I would think that Johnson&Johnson would be ok...they test on animals to make sure it's ok for babies, so it's probably a safe bet that it's already been "ok'd" for dogs somewhere along the line.
There are also some "doggie wipes" at Petsmart that I've seen.

I use baby wipes on my bulldog for in-between bath hygiene and they work great. I use the ones you buy in bulk at Costco. They are fragrance free. All the brands make an extra gentle wipe, but they are usually fragrance free. I am sure any type of baby wipe would do though.
They also make antibacterial wipes for dogs, but they are usually more expensive.

I buy the fragrance-free, alcohol-free wipes from the local organic store...

I wouldn't use baby wipes made for humans. The chemicals used are not intended to be safe to ingest and you never know how much the dog licks off after you use them.
I'd use a natural grooming spray or wipes.

I use baby wipes where my dog can't lick. Facial folds and girl parts...no, bulldogs can't clean themselves!

I have used rinseless shampoo's in the past with success.

There is one by Alexanders own as well that I used once. I find they are great for quick clean up's. There are other quality rinseless shampoo's as well. I have never heard of any issues using these products and talked to many breeders who use them for quick touch up's before a show.

Yeah, definantly. We used to use "Puppy Wipes" from Petsmart, but realised that they were the same thing as baby wipes, so we used those instead. When Princess had pups, we use babywipes on them because they weren't old enough for shampoo, but would get dirty tumbling around in their food/formula mix. :D

I use baby wipes for everything... dog, countertops, telephone, dusting, kids ... I keep a pack in the fridge in Summer for freshening everyone up too.
I buy hypoallergenic wipes whenever I see them on offer. Couldn't handle my son without them. You dress him up, turn around to check the time and alah kazaam! the little devil's pot black manky again.
Skye's never had any problem with wipes. I mainly use them on her to run around the inside of her ears.
