Mark's friend's wife is extremely allergic to Hannah (she's allergic to Simba too but not as bad as Hannah). We bought some nature's miracle stuff that you spray on and wipe into their fur and I just started using that today. I also brush Hannah twice daily and I sweep and vaccum every other day (well sweep one day and vacuum the next). Is there any good shampoos or anything that I could try using on Hannah. She can't even come downstairs because if she's downstairs for more than five minutes she's all stuffed up and her eyes are watery. I thought about buying an ionic breeze too. Would one of those work?

I too need advice for dealing with allergies -- I didn't know it but I am mildly allergic to dogs, I just got tested this week. I'm also allergic to dust mites and grass.
I guess I need to get allergen-free bedding, keep my room clear of clutter and dust, tackle the dust mite thing. Then I need to bathe my dog often and avoid letting him give me kisses on the mouth/eyes/nose and wash my hands often, especially after petting him.
This is all going to be a huge undertaking.
What else can I do? Anyone have some good tricks?

I've been doing the same thing, washing her often and when I brush her I do it outside. I swept everyday and I vacuum all the furniture. The spray stuff seems to be working because she was hanging out with me for about two hours down here last night and she didn't get all stuffy and everything.
