here is the artist that invited me to her shop..said she would give me some tips on marketing..thought you might like to see her work. She is extremely popular here..and has a very large painting at the Humane Society where i take my dogs for their vet care. http://www.bellacompany.com

Definitely Smkie's. Smkie sees with deeper eyes and paints with truer hand.
I like the stuff on the Bella company website better than the artist's personal website; it seems to have more heart.
I can see where she can give you some good marketing techniques, Smkie. I like that she wants to help you, presuming she does and isn't looking for some way to use you. Just keep your eyes and ears open, Smkie.

ohhh no she don't need me..her stuff is a hot item! She is in the newspaper all the time. At all the cool stores too..the arty ones and the animal ones. I felt she was genuinly fond of my work and wanted to help.

here style looks awesome large..i think it loses something in the smaller view..here is one i really dont get. i painted a rabbit in kindergarten as good as this..yet i saw Bluedog in the cafe of the sitcom "Friends" i mean it's interesting but my god the artist has to be bored to death with it by now..and he just keeps going with the same image..http://www.Bluedog.com if this doens't pull it up..i will go find the right address ok that is not the right one..let me go find it..here is the right one..http://www.georgerodrigue.com/index2.htm check out the price of a silkscreen..you could knock me over with the fact that this is hot! and here i am trudging away at learning and trying to improve my skills! I could have done that when i was 6 yrs old!

That address goes to an ad agency, BUT there was something very worthwhile. The Blue Dog that the agency takes its name from is a racing greyhound and they are active in greyhound rescue. There's a link to a lovely site with great info on living with retired racers: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/greyhounds/mine.html

Smkie, I agree with everyone that I enjoy your work better. I hope one day you will be able to market your work and show the world what you can do.

If i ever ever dooooo..i will send you anything you want BArb..you make me feel so special! have u read Dr Seuss Put me in the Zoo...that is the story of my life! it was my favorite when i was little go figure... I just don't know how to balance family and this..plus there is no groundwork money to invest..i need to be adopted by a very generous benefactor! Think i can work up some sad eyes and whine a little while i dance from foot to foot like Mary does? will it make me more appealing?
Artist..needs someone to believe in their work
must have tons of money that they really don't need and willing
to invest in product and advertising...
must be nice to artist! (no yelling or being mean) will that work?
maybe i can sell my self on e-bay..wait..that wouldn't work. i could get in trouble that way! i am being silly
