English springer spaniel training!!

Hello all....

Iam in desperate need of some traing tips for my springer spaniel who is 7 months old and is absoultly crazy!!! 80% of the time he does as we say, but as for the rest of the time he is disobient!
When we go to put him in the kitchen at night or when we go to bed he blocks the door way and doesnt come in... we tried with treats at first and he mastered it, but now he knows whats to come so he just ignors them and stays put!!
This is our only problem.
When we take him out for walks he always comes back when we shout him, he always waits for his food, never barks and is 90% house trained (only the odd miss-happ)

I'm not sure I understand. He blocks what doorway? To the kitchen?

I'd just snap a leash on him and bring him to the room you want.

If he's not responding to a command then stop giving it untill you can get him responding again, since it will only teach him to ignore you. Better to just make it happen and then work on training the behavior at a seperate time.
