Puppy Growth

=) I was thinking, it would be very interesting to see the growth rates of all of those precious pups, from month to month. Fozzie is an unknown (except for the Corgi part) mixed breed, so partly I'm curious where puppies who were his weight at his age ended up. Also, it's just very interesting to see how different breeds grow & when they stop growing. You can start with a photo of your pup when you got him/her, and end with a "full-grown" photo or a current photo, if you have one.

Lucy doesn't do too much growing, considering the biggest she'll probably get is 7 pounds lol.

Should probably add, she's a bichon/poodle mix.

Wrigley:

10 weeks: 4lbs
3 mo: 6lbs
4mo: 8lbs
now (just a bit over 6 months): approx. 10 lbs.

I don't forsee him getting too much bigger--although we do not know who his father is--his mother was 12 lbs and about 5 inches taller than he is (he hasn't gotten more than like 3 inches taller since we've had him the entire time)

Here are from his medical records

08/31/05 (2 months old[almost 3]) - 11.4lbs
9/23/05 (2 months old[almost 4]) - 19.0 lbs
10/21/05 (4 months old[almost 5]) - 26.4 lbs
I can't find the medical record this date, but in the one after this his previous weight was this, I assume it was taken in December - 40.0 lbs
1/19/06 (6 months old) - 44.8 lbs
4/25/06 (9 months old) - 53.6 lbs

Currently at 1 year he is approx. around 60 lbs - he still has some filling out to do now and his body is still forming into itself, so hes not down growing yet :)

Tinkerbell was 2 pounds at 7 weeks
4 pounds at 3 months,and she's 4 months old now, weighs around 5 1/2 pounds... I wish I could post some cute pics....
I'm guessing her final weight might be 7-8 pounds...

Squidbert, Fozzie is half Corgi, half something else. :p Lots of people think he's half Husky, but he is the exact same size as a Cardigan Welsh Corgi his age... so, basically I have no idea!

Tinksmama, she is so so cute! I love her dogster, especially the canoe pic ;0)

6 months - 90 lbs
9 months - 115 lbs
1 year (current)- 133 lbs
Hes lost a lot of weight this summer, because of the heat, but hes at a good weight..and of course still growing..we are thinking he'll be around 150-160 when hes full grown, his dad was a muscular 180, i know hes not going to get that big

ok, I finally got to weigh Tinkebell today, she's 18 weeks,4 1/2 months- and weighs 6 pounds 2 ounces! tadah! She's tripled her weight since we got her at 7 weeks- I can't get over the growth rate on some of these big puppies!

The only one I am up to date on is Hondo, I can only tell you the current weight of my other dogs.

2 months- 20lb
3 months- 29 lbs
4 months- 41 lbs
and thats it.

Caza- 103 lbs (he's a big boy, wish he was smaller)

Wow, I definitely see some patterns. All of the pups are a little more than double their weight between 2 & 4 months.

I don't see too many beyond 6 months, but it'd be interesting to see any patterns compared to 6 months and adult weight. :) Of course, little dogs stop growing much sooner than the bigger pups.

I don't post on here much, but this thread is so cute! I have to get pictures of Hershey to share because he is growing so much! Here is his growth record, I will try to post pictures of him later. He is a lab/shepherd mix.

8wks- 9 lbs.
13wks- 13 lbs.
16 wks- 27 lbs.
5 months- 40 lbs!!!!!!

How big do you think he'll get? My husband would love for him to be bigger than our other dog. Sparky is five and is 48 lbs., so Hershey will definately be bigger than her!
