My 2yr. old Dalmatian's left eye has this weird bluish-white thing covering part of his eye. It looks like their eyes when they are asleep. He usually has excessive "eye boogers" but not as bad now. He is squinting but only sometimes. He doesn't seem sensitive to light It has only been 3 days since I noticed it first. I have an overgrown field behind my house with lots of weeds and I noticed it first after I had left them outside all day while I was gone. I have pictures but I dont know how to post them. If anyone knows anything about something like this please reply. If you want to see the pictures I will email them to you, just ask.

Oddly enough, my brother had a similar thing happen with one of his cats. It was in both eyes and it was bluish white covering about half of the bottom of each eye. We took him to the vet and the cat was suffering from severe allergies and these were actually the lower eyelid coming up to protect the eye. I believe the cat was given an antihistimine and after a while the eyelids returned to their normal position.

I wonder if this could be a similar situation with your dog?
