I think my beagle swallowed my earring stud! Help

My beagle and I were playing, he grabbed my ear, and i think he swallowed my earring stud. Will he poop it out?
this happened last night around 9:30 pm.

Your sure that it isn't on the floor somewhere?
I would think that something that small should just pass, but i am not too sure.
I am sure others could advise you on what to do.
If you are worried then give the Vets a call and see what they suggest, they may say to wait a while.

you'll be digging thru poop so save it:D

If it hasn't passed in a couple days they'll probably x-raya to see if its even in there, but it should pass thru.

Don't forget to wear some gloves

Double and Triple check all over the floor to make sure he didn't just pull it off. I had a dog do that to one of mine and I started freaking out, then I saw it lying by a small rock at the puppy's feet.

If it was just a stud, and not a large hoop or chandalier earring, it should pass relatively easily. Have fun with the scavenger hunt! :)

yes i agree it will pass through but if it hasnt past through (yeh just agreeing with everyone here) go to the vet because the sharp end may get stuck but ive heard dogs swallowing things like whole socks and theyve been fine! Beagles do like eating everything dont they :D my friends came to stay and every morning it was sick because the day befre it ate things like string, toy fluff and grass. btw i wouldnt EVER wear the earring again :D
