Pretty good read: http://channels.netscape.com/ns/homerealestate/package.jsp?name=fte/smartpets/smartpets

One thing, though - the article suggests playing with cats with laser pointers - all well and good as long as it doesn't get shined into the cat's eyes!

A good site Renee, but I don't think I could cope with Gus being any smarter!! :D It's hard enough as it is keeping him occupied! :)

Victor came with a passion for laser pointers and flashlights..but especially the laser. If you shine it on the floor and then turn it off..he stands there staring at the last spot he saw it as if it will rise up out of the floor..for a long long time until somebody takes pity and shines it again..he is just wild about it and will pounce and dig trying to catch it...he can jump to the top of the door trying to get it too we use it for cold day exercise. we are always careful not to point it in his eyes....

Same here Gustav! Lol it was a good site though very interesting but i think if my animals get any smarter then they are now they will eventualy take over the place and kick me out like in the book Animal Farm lol.

hahaha - I was looking at a similar doggie link on the BBC (UK TV channel website) - here's a link to one of tests..... the outcome of "jumping over the chairs to get the treat" wasn't one of the multi-choice outcomes though ;)

We've done a test on our dogs, and I just did the test you posted, bonster. They all turned out very well :). Very interesting site.
