Are Pembroke Corgis actually born WITH tails?
I've yet to see a Pembroke with more than a stump, but I hear that some are born with long tails. Any truth to this?

Slightly smaller than the Cardigan, the Pembroke is 10-12 inches at the withers and weighs 25-30 pounds, with bitches slightly lighter than dogs. It, too, is sturdily built with medium bone and powerful muscling. Its tail is docked as short as possible, and some are born without tails.
*came from website below...sounds like they are born with tails, then docked...or can be born without*

Tails: If not born with a natural bob or tail-less, dock as close as
possible, but not so close as to leave an indentation. Tail should not
protrude beyond the anus (tail length must not exceed two inches).

another site confirming that they can be born with a tail, bobbed or tail-less...

Wow, i cant believe it. I always thought that all pembrokes were born with naturally docked tails. Are there any signs of unnatural docking that I can look for on Peanut?
