Dog show!

I didnt know where to put this but I tk it would be cool if we had a "dog show"
Just show us the best picture of your dog (mix breed or pure bred)
and we have judges to decide the winner.

We of coarse we would need judges... to narrow it down to the top five then we could vote the best. If you want to be a judge Pm me. I need 5.

The one voted best could be the chaz dog of the month! then we could start all over for the next month.

So enter your pics ...lets see who is Julys dog of the month! need judges!

Hmm thats a cute idea.. it should be "dog of the week" though..
Have a poll up on the Fire Hydrant with pics up from 1-5..

What should the pictures be judged ON though.. conformation? Skill? Looks? Attitude??

There should be a theme for each week maybe?

How about instead of the best looking dog(some people are biased to breeds)

That way there are no "breed biases" lol

Some people on here are not the most skilled with the camera...

So i dont think it should be based on best picture taken...

That would leave out some awfully cute dogs...

Pure breds are judged on the standard and crosses can be judged on the most interesting looking cross (ie color, structure, ect..)

we should just do the best picture. It should not turn into the best purebred for the standards and mix breeds by what they look like (there is already things for pure breds.) . I know some ppl are not skilled at cameras but just do the best you can.
Thats why we have judges to narrow it down to the top five then can put a poll for the best one. Lets go by the cuteness of the photo. So what your poochies and get those cameras snapping (ie cute sleeping positions... Snuggling with other pets. Babies and dogs. outdoor fun.... )

i like your idea princess. we should have a week for each group of pictures so that everyone has a chance to vote. lets say monday to saturday and pick new dogs on sundays

Just a note to some replies - wouldn't it be hard to judge a dog breed in comparison to it's standard from a picture?? Maybe not, but I would think so. :confused:
