They are pretty! One of the staff at the shelter I volunteer at has a dog named Riggs that she got at the shelter. It is believed he is a dutch shepherd mix and he is the sweetest dog in the world!
Good luck on getting one! :)

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love all the working breeds such as Malinois and other belgian shepherds!!

It's actually quite popular. My father did it with our Labrador years ago. First he did obedience training and afterward few of them went forward and started doing what we call "security-attack training" (not sure how you guys call it in US or UK). It's a lot of fun and dogs love doing it...... it's not some tough training, it's mostly positive motivation and simply encouraging dog's natural abilities to chase and grab. They have to however learn to let go the minute their trainer/owner tells them to. That's the whole point! ;)

Yeah, can you imagine? :D she was quite exceptional and the only Lab in the group. It was all German Shepherds, Dobermans, Malinois and Giant Schnauzers.

There's a lab in Utah right now that trains with a Club, I believe he does PSA/FR/MR.
Border Collies, JRT, and Goldens as well as Labs have obtained SchH III's in the US.

A corgi obtained a Sch. II title back in the 60's before they did the height changes to fit the breeds. He took a 1 1/2 pound dumbell over a 40 inch jump! I've seen pics of it, the wall is huge! lol.
Kinda off topic, sorry

I don't mean the training I mean the being the decoy. People enjoy being the guy being attacked.

I've heard that it's way more addicting than being the handler, and being the handler is pretty dang addicting

Much more addicting, even when its 90 and you're in pants sitting in the sun. You get a whole 'nother perspective on what is going on, and a new found respect for what the helpers are doing.
