Ugh Jim my fiancee made the huge mistake of telling his dad about our trainer and having his dad take his female to him.
His dad like to take things out of porportion, exaggerate, lie, says he knows things he really has no idea bout or the first clue!
So Jims dad emails our trainer and our trainer emails back. My FIL is so full of it he starts lying to me about the whole conversation. I know what he wrote to our trainer. He wrote to asking our trainer what he thought about him breeding his female on a prelim just before she is 2 years and breeding her to my boy Red on a prelim at 1 and 1/2. I know this because he called me asking me what I thought. Of course I wouldnt!! I tried telling him once during the conversation but he wouldnt listen! So I blew him off!
This isnt the first time my FIL has done something like this. The first time he was telling our trainer that a certain title was easy and that we said his dog was better than that and could pass the tests easy......NOT what we said at all! He asked if we thought his dog could do it, we simply said yes we think she could if you work on her after getting her back from the trainer. Of course he didnt tell our trainer that little detail.
Ill top it off with both times we went to pick up our dogs this year they had an injury thta we werent informed of what so ever. I can see him saving time and moneyfixing it himself but He should have called us so that when we picked up our dogs we were tossed a bag of antibiotics and a breif discription of the incident. SHOCK!
Time for a new trainer. This isnt working out for me. He cant be honest with us about things even though we warned him about my FIL. Seems like he wants a reason to be p o'd. He has always been kind of a hot head but this past year has gotten worse!
So wish me luck in finding a better trainer. There are 2 that I am looking at. One I am talking to that we really like so far.
