Hi! My name is Erica, I have 2 pups. Gonzo is a 4 year-old Border Collie boy, he's a super dork and the sweetest dog ever. Fozzie is our new pup, he's a 11 week-old Corgi/Aussie? mix. Fozzie is adorable and SO smart! He has not had one accident and he already knows his basic commands. Both of my boys are from rescue, we got Gonzo when he was 6 months old from a cattle ranch, and Fozzie 2 weeks ago from a rescue in Redding.

I'm really stoked to have found these boards! I heard about Chazhound from LJ friends, and I've kind of been procrastinating about joining... having my hands full with a crazy puppy and all. :D I see that lots of members do dog sports which is awesome!! I am most actively competing in Flyball, but I've done Agility, Rally-O, Obedience, Herding & Frizbee with Gonzo. I am also excited to see all of the pictures of ALL of the beautiful pups here.

Fozzie is my avatar, here's a few more pics...

thanks for the nice welcomes! =)

Saje, he has one blue eye, like your boy Nanook!

Babyblue, LOTS of people have seen Husky in him! The rescue said they thought he was half Aussie or half JRT. He seems very small to be half Husky, but he does have a Husky look. I hope so, Huskies are awesome dogs.

He is only 11 weeks so he just may have husky in him! :) But you'll probably only know when he's older.

Thanks, everybody! ;)

PWCorgi, your pups are ADORABLE! I totally admire you for raising 2 Corgi puppies at once! Corgis are wonderful dogs, I would love a Pembroke or a Cardi someday. We searched for a Cardigan for so, so long. We had a blue girl reserved from Pawcific, in Washington, and we were supposed to pick her up in 2 weeks... but the stud owner changed their mind and decided to take our girl! Right after we found out we had lost our girl, we heard about Fozzie and drove 6 hours to see him. Now I'm so happy we decided to rescue, he's the best pup I could ever ask for. His ears have been going up and down in Corgi fashion, a lot of people actually think he's a PB Cardi! I'm guessing, not.

Babyblue, you're right! He could get a huge growth spurt. He has been the same weight as a Pembroke, though, so hopefully he won't grow up to be as big as a Husky ;)

An Aussie is no bigger then a Husky. Well bred ones don't get very big. 45 to 60 pounds for dogs 35 to 50 pounds for females. I have a 10 year old female and she is 35lbs.

Hi everyone!
My name is BJ and I signed up today because on the 9th of June I will be getting my puppy, and I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Last week he sat up like a big dog for the first time and opened his eyes.

I have already ordered the cage, food, bedding...we'll pick out the toys together when Bink arrives.

Bink is a Mastiff/Malamute/White Sheperd mix. His daddy is HUGE and mom is BIG. Both mom and dad are owned by two very good friends - but they live in Alabama so I haven't even seen him yet, but I love him already.

It's been over ten years since I had my last Mastiff, Thanos, and six years since my Airdale, Toby, went to the big ranch in the sky (he loved ranch life).

Great to join you all, I'm looking forward to many great pictures of your dogs and sharing information. I will post pics of Bink as soon as I can. I'm so-o-o-o excited! :D

I'm really stoked to have found these boards! I heard about Chazhound from LJ friends,

Funny... I found Chaz through LJ too... although now I am spend more time on here than I do there. But then there are more people who WANT to hear about my Mojo, than there are on my friends list.

Welcome aboard! Your pups are adorable!

hehe, I know. While Huskies often exceed 60 lbs, I know Aussies are just slightly larger than Border Collies... which is why I was thinking Aussie more than Husky? BUT, who knows? :p

Thanks, Kat & Mojo's mom!

Wiyaka, it sounds like your pup will be a cutie! You should post that in an individual thread, so more people will check it out.

Hi RD! I love your avatar... oh, Cartman >_<

Ripley and Dakota are adorable! I was seriously considering a Papillon instead of a Corgi, your boy is insanely cute. Dakota is a very handsome BC boy, I feel like I knew you from another board a long time ago? I recognize that cute pup!

I would agree. I think he's Husky by the coat color and eyes and Corgi by the ears and small build. I don't think he'll get to awfully big, but he sure is beautiful.
