I just received a e-mail from Connie Guthrie with Save_our_Strays. I had adopted Victor from her last April and told her if she ever needed any gift certificates to let me know. She does such incredible good work. She needs a van for transporting the dogs to different adoption sites. She has saved (in an article that I ran across) 100 dogs and by now I am sure it is more. Pet smart said they would donate the van but she has to come up with some of the funds, around 5000. I am going to send her a couple of gift certificates. If anyone else wants to help I have asked her permission to post on her behalf and as soon as I here from her I will edit this post with the address. The sale will be in St. Louis.
