Interesting article I found on the web...

Not helped by (UK, maybe US too?) reality-TV type "quick fix" dog training..there was recently a programme on UK TV called "dog borstal" - I only watched it for 2 mins and saw a nervous dog being dragged along a concrete floor by its collar and lead whilst it was lying down  supposedly to teach it to heel

Whilst I was back in the UK just recently, I was surprised by the number of dog walking services springing up... probably OK for an active dog with busy keepers, but surely walking and exercising your dog is something you as the owner would want to do yourself (the fun...?) and exercise needs/your available time would be a consideration in your selection

Mutt or purebred, from reputable breeder or rescue, a good owner must invest time in their dog... is that so hard to understand
