Yeah, that's trustworthy and I'm not a PETA fan. Not a good source at all. They just want to feel free to wear whatever they want.

PETA actually does euthenize a lot of animals every year. For all the nazi-esque shinanigans and slander PETA produces, they still have a good side: They do take in thousands of animals every year and attempt to place them in loving homes. After the animals have been in PETA shelters for 90~180 days without being adopted, exactly what's supposed to be done with them? It's sad indeed, but they only have so much room.

I hate PETA...They support banning all Pit Bulls and related breeds. The name sounds good but they have messed up leadership IMHO.

In my opinion PETA is a bunch of complete and utter wackos (especially Ingrid... my god...), but despite that, they have done some good with their financial clout, such as for example exposing the whole truth on animal experimentation done by the Iams company. Suits me just fine that they made P&G uncomfortable with that and caused them to waste a few millions for hiring a PR company and all that.

That being said, as long as people still have that "not in my back yard" attitude, puppymills and pet stores continue their dirty trade, and people aren't educated better, animals will continue to be euthanized by the millions in this country, regardless if it is by PETA, other groups, or animal control in every city/county.

They support banning all Pit Bulls and related breeds.

I don't think this is correct.
