I know I love this part.

"I don't want the dog to die because it's my friend's dog.

"I wouldn't like it if Lexus died."

Sad for the boy, but a happy ending for the dogs !

That's great that the boy's father has such a positive attitude, and the right attitude about children and dogs - saying it's the parents responsibility to handle both. That boy is going to grow up really understanding how to treat animals.

Poor kid to get bitten like that, though. What a nice boy. And I love the photo!!

That's sad for that boy, I was bit in the face by a pit mix when I was a child, I still bear the scars today.

It's good to see articles like that though. I have grown up with pit bulls, dobermans, chows and rotweillers; and never had a problem with my own pets. But I wasn't allowed to be alone with the dogs untill I was like 11 or so.

I have a game bred APBT now who is great with my nieces and nephews (ranging in age from 2-11) and my mother's cats and all other animals and people. But she is still never left alone with them, b/c that is just not a risk that I am willing to take...
